Anthony “Tony” Kraus was born in Port Huron, Michigan. He received his preparatory education at Purdue University receiving Bachelor Degrees in Criminal Justice and Sociology in 1987. Mr. Kraus’ legal education was completed at the Indiana University School of Law and he received his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1990. He was admitted to the Indiana Bar in that same year. Mr. Kraus is admitted to practice before the Indiana Supreme Court, the United States District Court in the Northern District and the Southern District of Indiana. Mr. Kraus has over twenty years experience in handling litigation, criminal law, and family law related cases.
Tony Kraus has been active in his community in providing services to persons needing court appointed counsel in Steuben County, DeKalb County, Noble County and the Federal District Court. He has both State and Federal jury trial experience. He was a member of the Clear Lake Town Council, Clear Lake Plan Commission and has been active in the Big Brothers-Big Sisters Program. He is a member of the DeKalb County Bar Association, the Indiana Bar Association as well as the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association. Over the years of representing clients in difficult legal situations, Mr. Kraus has learned how to get the best possible outcome for the client using his years of experience and legal education.
